Dominique Thompson is 15 years old and
is my son. He's so passionate, detailed,
and at peace with his art. He's been
practicing art since he was two years old
and it's been a great therapy being
diagnosed with autism.
He's studied art at the Cleveland Museum
of Art and continues to take full advantage
of art programs through his public
education which has been a source of
great encouragement and help with driven
and patient teachers that Dominique
continues to inspire with his dedication to
learning and respect for his peers and
authority at school. He volunteers his time
to help out in the special needs classroom
in which he enjoys. It gets him through
difficult days that he has from time to time
battling his own emotional makeup.
He continues to grow and learn and
exercise new challenges to become a
more well rounded artist . I'm so proud that
God chose me to be Dominique's mother.
